Potato Day Festival Scheduled for Saturday, September 12
GREELEY, CO– Nearly 2,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Potato Day to participate in a tradition that’s a “spud-tacular” part of Greeley history. This year’s Potato Day is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Centennial Village Museum, 1475 A St., and event organizers will have plenty of delicious potatoes stacked with a choice of delicious toppings for guests.
Potato Day is a living history festival that celebrates Northern Colorado’s rich agricultural heritage. Centennial Village is an 8-acre open-air museum featuring over two dozen historic structures, heritage farm animals and costumed interpreters. Visitors can tour the museum as well as enjoy live entertainment and a plethora of activities during the event.

Historic Telegraph Demonstrations

Overland Forge Blacksmithing
Historic Children’s Games
And much more!
In addition, a baked potato with a choice of toppings is included with admission. Admission to Potato Day is $7, for children 3 and older. Children 2 and under are free.
The event is a major fundraiser of the Friends of the Greeley Museums. Since 1987, the group has raised and donated over $300,000 to the City of Greeley Museums for educational programs and preservation projects.
