Your wedding and baby or bridal showers are a few of the best days of your life and our staff wants to make it as special as you have always dreamed it to be. With so many lovely outdoor and indoor locations to choose from, Centennial Village is the ideal setting for your special event.
Adjacent to Island Grove Regional Park, our 8-acre location includes lush gardens, architecturally beautiful backdrops, a gazebo, on-site church, full-access kitchen, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This unique history museum is the perfect location for a memorable destination wedding or shower.
- On-site catering space is available; we can assist you in selecting a caterer or you may select your own. Alcohol must be arranged through our service provider.
- Please be aware that Centennial Village is an open-air museum and public use facility. Your event may be subject to weather and public spectators.
- In addition, Centennial Village is handicap accessible and our buildings are air conditioned. Dates fill up quickly, so book your event today!
Weld Centennial Church
Originally constructed in the summer of 1917, this white historic church features beautiful stained glass windows, hardwood flooring, traditional wooden pews, and seats up to 50 people for an intimate wedding ceremony.
Food is not permitted in the church and decorations must meet the museums preservation requirements. The site is wheelchair accessible, and climate controlled based on weather.
1885 Hall House
This Victorian house is perfect for smaller gatherings and events. The Hall House will seat up to 30 people for meetings, luncheons, small receptions, etc. This site includes spacious areas for dressing and preparing for the special event.
The Friends of the Greeley Museums Pavilion
Adjacent to the Hall House, the Friends of the Greeley Museums Pavilion was built in 2016 and its rustic charm adds convenience and comfort to any outdoor event. The pavilion seats up to 50 people comfortably for receptions or dinners and includes lighting for evening events and ample electrical hook-ups.
The spacious brick plazas, gazebo, and surrounding gardens are ideal for outdoor weddings, receptions, picnics, etc. The gazebo, located central to the Village, was originally built in 1885 and moved to the Village in 1976 and has been a popular spot for concerts, programs and weddings.
The Shaw House
Built in 1901, the Shaw House includes limited areas for dressing and preparing for the special event.
The 8-acre site includes building exteriors such as the red brick High Plains Print Shop, the historic Carriage House, the 1910 Trolley, the original log and mortar Weld County Courthouse, and expansive green lawns for amazing photo opportunities with unique character you won’t find anywhere else.
