FOR RELEASE: City of Greeley museum staff will host a public meeting on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m., at the Greeley History Museum, 714 8th St., to collect input for its long-range planning project.

One of four city-owned museum properties, the Greeley History Museum showcases and preserves Greeley and Weld County’s history through exhibitions, programs, permanent collections and research. The building includes three floors of permanent and changing galleries and the lower level contains the Hazel E. Johnson Research Center.

The building, originally built in 1929 for the Greeley Tribune, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and became home to the Greeley History Museum in 2005.
