GREELEY, Colo. — It’s hot out there! And it’s the perfect time for a cold sweet treat at Centennial Village Museum’s Pets ‘n’ Popsicles from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. August 9 and 10.

Kids will love the historical activities and games and the opportunity to visit heritage farm animals like sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens. And every ticket comes with a popsicle. On Saturday, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, weather permitting. While buildings are closed for this event, you can walk the grounds and enjoy the park-like settings. Tickets are $4/person for ages 3 and over, and children 2 and under are free.

Visit the museum at 1475 A Street on the south side of Island Grove Regional Park. For more information, call 970-350-9220 or visit greeleymuseums.com. Regular season hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from late May through early September.
