FOR RELEASE – Margaret Langley, a genealogy librarian at the Centennial Park Library, receives all types of reference questions from the public—including some that lead to solving intriguing mysteries. For instance, one question led to an investigation of the true burial site of Congressional Medal of Honor recipient William J. Evans.
Come learn about this and other memorable inquiries Langley has answered through her years working for the library and on genealogy projects on Friday, Sept. 2, at 6 p.m., at the Greeley History Museum, 714 8th St. Admission to the First Friday Presentation is free.
The October First Friday Presentation, scheduled for Oct. 7, is “Weld on the Web” which covers the collaborative effort between the museum and library systems to digitize and make thousands of important Weld County photos accessible to the public.
