FOR RELEASE: Kick off the spring season the cuddly way, with Centennial Village’s baby animals! Baby Animal Days returns to Centennial Village, 1475 A St., Thursday, April 21 through Sunday, May 1, and is open daily, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $2 for people ages three and older.
Families can meet, learn about, and interact with various baby animals such as sheep, ducks, piglets and more during the event. Under volunteer supervision children can pet many of the baby animals. Kids can enjoy pony rides included with admission on the weekends.
“Kids always love meeting the baby animals and the animals love them,” says Sarah Lester, education and program coordinator. “Parents plan on bringing their kids every year, and some even bring picnics to enjoy during the event. Families really make a day out of it, full of games and family fun.”
The Greeley West High School Future Farmers of America, under the direction of Director Kelly Longacre, provides the majority of animals for this event.
Baby Animal Days is a weather dependent event. For additional information, call 970-350-9220 or visit GreeleyMuseums.com.
