The City of Greeley History Museums is bringing traditional oral storytelling back into the community. Parents and children can enjoy various tales told by Volunteer Coordinator Wendy Potts every first and third Thursday of the month at the Greeley History Museum.
Scheduled story times include:
November 6, at 10 a.m. Tall Tales and Short Stories
November 20, 10 a.m. Stories About Sharing & Thanksgiving
December 4, 10 a.m. Wintertime Stories
December 18, 10 a.m. Holiday Stories
There will not be a story time on Thursday, Jan. 1.
Oral storytelling allows children to use their imagination while learning valuable lessons. The museum asks for a $1 donation per child as its admission cost.
