FOR RELEASE: Centennial Village, 1475 A St., is closed to the public this Friday, May 13, but resumes normal season hours on Saturday.

Friday is the last day of the week-long 2016 Spring High Plains History Festival. The museum is closed to the public as over 2,000 fourth and fifth grade students visit from Cheyenne, Denver and the surrounding areas.

For twenty-five years, the City of Greeley Museums has produced living history festivals for teachers and students, learning from historic demonstrations that illustrate life in Northern Colorado and the old American West. Centennial Village’s next major event is Centennial Celebration on May 28 and 29.
