FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 2, 2015

What better way to kick off spring than visiting with a bunch of baby animals? Centennial Village, 1475 A St., is introducing its newest resident animals to the public, April 3 through 12, with the return of its annual Baby Animal Days event.

During Baby Animal Days, kids can meet, learn about, and interact with various baby animals such as sheep, ducks, piglets and more. Under volunteer supervision, kids can even pet many of the baby animals.

With the exception of a holiday closure on April 5, the event is open daily for two weeks and hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Admission is $2.50, ages three years and older.

On Saturday afternoons kids can enjoy pony rides and on April 4, 11 and 12 the City of Greeley Police Department K-9 unit will provide demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Greeley West High School Future Farmers of America, under the direction of Director Kelly Longacre, provides the majority of animals for this event.

Baby Animal Days is a weather dependent event. For additional information, call 970-350-9220 or visit www.greeleymuseums.com.
