Frances Wisebart Jacobs was known as Denver’s Mother of Charities, a title she earned as one of the founders of the Charities Organization Society (now the United Way) and the woman responsible for National Jewish Hospital. Susan Malmstadt, of the Legendary Ladies, will perform Frances and talk about this remarkable community organizer whose charity work lives on today.
