History Brown Bag: Lincoln Assassination Letter @ Greeley History Museum | Greeley | Colorado | United States

Dean C. Moore, long-time Greeley resident, will give a presentation about a letter written 119 years about by an Ohio Congressman and eyewitness to the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln at Ford’s Theatre. He will talk about the letter and its contents, as well as how he came to have it and the donation of the letter to the Lincoln Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois. Mr. Moore has been married to his bride Lee Moore for 58 years and they are the parents of three grown children, Steve, Christopher and Kate.

History Brown Bags are free afternoon events that aim to provide cultural and historical context to topics related to Historic Preservation in and around Greeley.
